Kels Laughing

I am a NESTA, CES, PES, and TRX certified Personal Trainer. I have been using my knowledge, experience and personal success to help clients achieve their fitness goals for over six years. I thrive on helping people reach their potential by creating customized personal training programs and meal plans for any level of fitness. I began my fitness journey early in life. I grew up with a Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor for a mother. This set the stage for my natural passion for fitness. As a teenager I was involved in numerous sports that consisted of soccer, lacrosse, and cheerleading. I became a competitive cheerleader in highschool and college and won state and national titles. Once I retired cheerleading in college I got my first job working at Equinox gym as a front desk associate. Being in a gym environment and surrounded by fitness enthusiasts prepared me for becoming a Personal Trainer myself. I started to really fall in love with training my own body and even my friends that when I decided to become a Personal Trainer I already had a lot of experience under my belt. My passion for helping others grew tremendously over the years and I worked in numerous gym settings. I’ve worked with people individually and even with groups of up to 40 people. When I have free time I’m usually spending it lifting weights, cooking, playing tennis, going on bike rides, hiking and on the beautiful beaches in southern California.

I am a Weight Loss Specialist and ACE certified Personal Trainer. My passion for training others has been my life over the last seven years. Growing up I have always been more of a tom boy compared to my sisters. Camping, hunting trips and lifting like the boys was something I have always enjoyed. My life was very active but when I met my husband, Dalton in 2010 my passion began to grow even more. He is an avid gym goer and basically taught me how to lift. We would be in the gym six days a week and work as hard as our bodies could handle. I absolutely love days when I can crush it in the gym. I got my personal training certificate the fall of 2010. I began training private clients and posting my own workouts and health tips online. This grew to online programming and slowly after that I started coaching group fitness classes. I also competed in fitness competitions, winning the overall title in my first competition. I’ve devoted my time, knowledge and personal experience over the years to help others reach their goals. You’ll find me working hard in the gym, skateboarding with my dog Ruger, in the kitchen cooking and always doing my absolute best to become my best self.
